Hatha Yoga

Dan Fernandez Pose 2 Hatha Yoga is a very general term that encompasses many of the physical types of yoga. “Hatha” is a Sanskrit word which means sun and moon. Hatha yoga helps one achieve balance from within using breath, movement and mindfulness. Based on asanas or physical poses, this traditional form of yoga helps balance mind, body, and spirit.

Meditation, guided imagery, and relaxation exercises are incorporated to help you relax deeply. Poses are guided with a focus on proper alignment and breathing. Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present as each moment unfolds.
