  6. Deeper roots, stronger wings! An experiential workshop on Family Constellations

    Register Now

    with Panagiota Skandali
Systemic constellation facilitator (DGfS), Life Coach, Autonomy Trainer

“Children seldom or never dare to live a happier or more fulfilling life than their parents. Unconsciously they remain loyal to unspoken family traditions that work invisibly. Family Constellations are a way of discovering underlying family bonds and forces that have been carried unconsciously over several generations.” ~ Bertold Ulsamer

Every family is filled with love… and conflict! How do you balance these forces?

Try systemic constellation, a healing process that can help you face the adversities in your family relationships. By creating a symbolic constellation of your family centered around you, you will gain deeper insight into the underlying dynamics of your family and learn how to positively influence those around you. The symbolic arrangement of the family using a group of unrelated people as representatives makes it possible to reveal cross-generational entanglements and their impact on the individual, whether focusing on the family of origin (the parents, siblings and ancestors) or the present system (partnership, marriage and children).
The essence of the family constellation is the liberation of the clients from unconscious loyalties to family members, leading them to find their own place and their personal identity and power.

In this workshop Panagiota will lead two constellations, in which you will have the option to engage as a representative or simply follow the process as an observer. In either case, you will acquire a deeper awareness of yourself and your connection to others.

    Upcoming workshops:
    Sunday, May 19, 2:00 to 5:00 pm
    Sunday, June 7, 2:00 to 5:00 pm

$115 for doing your own constellation
$25 for participating as representative or observer

Benefit from our introductory fee, as event prices will go up in 2016!

    Register Now

    • With: Rebecca Stanko
    • Dates: Sunday, June 21, 2015
    • Times: 04:00PM to 06:00PM
The word solstice is derived from two Latin words – sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still). The word solstice actually means “sun standing still.” A solstice occurs twice a year – when the Earth reaches its maximum axial tilt toward the sun. Sunday, June 21st marks the summer solstice –the longest day of the year.

The solstice is an auspicious time to honor the sun, embrace the Earth and connect with nature. We will practice four sets of twenty-seven sun salutations, with a break in between each set. We will conclude the practice with gentle stretching and a sweet savasana. We encourage you to do what you can, rest when you would like, and listen to your body.

All levels are welcome. Modifications will be offered and rest is always encouraged.

Trains are like people in that they must inevitably arrive at their destinations. They make scheduled and unscheduled stops along the way and move at different speeds. Our lives stretch out in front of us and behind us like railroad tracks; and we are the train, its passengers, and the engineer. The way we choose to live our life and the goals we are working toward are the route and the destinations we have chosen. Like a rider on a train, we have the choice to get on and off, find new routes or just stop and enjoy the view for a while.
No expectations are present as we open to the intention of letting go. Props are used to fully support the body in restful postures. Allowing ourselves quiet time to examine the tracks of our life is important. We may even discover that something new we have been waiting for is just around the bend.

    $35/$30 if paid by 6/20
Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
