Dear Denise,
I want to tell you how happy I was to attend my first Yoga class with you last Monday! I enjoyed and appreciated it very much. It was not just a yoga movement class but also a very inspirational and empowering journey. I like it. You're a great instructor, Denise!!
Your class taught me to look inside of myself , to appreciate and accept who I am as an individual. And to know my limitation and strive for improvement at my own pace. It was very encouraging to know that everything will be fine if I let go and keep the faith. However, I have to tell you that your class was super tough and intense. My sweats was running down like rainfall and I was burning inside but my mind was still pushing my body to follow your instruction. At one point I thought I was going to die with this intensity.
As I was driving home that evening, my thought was running high and I realized that I was struggled at some points with the yoga movements and it was not just the physical movement that I was struggling with but also the mental exhaustion. I have to admit that I walked into your class with pain on my right side of my lower back, and lots of grief and pain inside of me. While doing the yoga, it helps me to release my stress and tension . You taught me to see and accept who I am and how precious my life is and I have all the rights as everyone else. It was a self awakening , encouraging and empowering journey for me. Thank you!
Believe or not, even with your intense class that I thought I will die it actually helped take care of my right side lower back pain. I am feeling so much better now. Thank you! Of course, now I have new pain on my arms and legs that I will just need to keep doing it to get better and stronger.

"I
started yoga this summer because I was interested
in it and I wanted to learn more about it. When I
went to my first class, it was scary and I didn't
know what to expect. Debra, my instructor, was nice,
encouraging, and knew what she was doing.
Over the two courses I took with Debra,
I learned some things. First, I learned that breathing
is the most important part of yoga. Next, the poses
were secondary to the breathing, and some were physically
challenging. I also learned that yoga isn't meant
to be competitive. Finally, I think it helps if you
practice.
I have used these techniques several times.
I have really enjoyed yoga!!!"

to have heard this audio. It was really wonderful. I
had been practicing Yoga & other meditation techniques.
I really found this audio useful and i used already
the same words at home (though, i dont have PC at home
& listened to it once, i remember the words EXACTLY)

"I took the Aero-Bhangra
class and was pleasantly surprised! It was the
most fun I've had in a long time. The free-form
style was easy to learn and by the end of class
we were all in step with each other. The teacher
is really good at being aware of the students
and if we needed extra time on a particular
step. It was so much fun that I'm trying to
get my friends to join me for the next class."

"Namaste Everybody.
I been asking everybody I meet to come
to Princeton Yoga Center to try every
class and get nourished by the center.
I decided to take up my own advice and
change my routine. I tried Pranayama
Class. It totally changes my outlook
about Prana and Yama. I thought this
class should be a manditory class prior
to all the yoga class. Yesterday I went
for Feldenkrais. We all get into our
routine and we don't stop to appreciate
the things around us. FeldenKrais was
the absolutely wonderful. It is definitely
a "re-education" of the process
of the movement. Pranayama and Feldenkrais,
What a heavenly combination. I know
that I would be learning something new
from everyclass.
Change is good. Fresh is good.

Dear Deborah
Although it’s been ages since
we’ve been in touch, I want to
take this moment to say, “Thank
You” for the amazing teacher you
have been. I think of you often, and
hear your words many times as I do yoga.
I have such fond memories of PCYH and
so appreciate what you have offered
me. It’s about time I let you
know that! I will always hold you in
my heart as my first real yoga teacher,
a true inspiration, and the one who
helped me start my path. As I near completion
of my own yoga teacher training, I aspire
to follow your model. Than you for your
luminous spirit.

Dear Deborah,
I want to thank you
for inviting me into the PCYH community.
I’ve had a wonderful time “working”
at the Center. And, although I eagerly
await the new phase I am entering,
it is tough to leave PCYH behind.
All summer I looked forward to my
shifts, the extra times I covered
for people and, of course, attending
classes. Being in such a peaceful,
yet energizing environment and surrounded
by the company of amazing people has
truly been a wonderful experience.
Especially during such a big transitional
stage in my life, it has been very
helpful to have a place like PCYH.
Best of luck in the
new seasons- BIG things are going
to happen, I can feel it. Thank you
for being so dedicated, passionate
and giving. The world needs more people
like you!
