An introduction to Vedanta
With Gautam Jain |
4:00-6:00 pm |
| The ancient philosophy of Vedanta contains the
technique of practical living. This knowledge enables one to lead
a life of mental peace with dynamic, productive action in the world
and endows one with a vision of the mission, purpose of life.
Join our special guest, Gautamji, as he introduces these ancient
teachings and shows their applicability to our modern life challenges
and choices.
Gautam
Jain is one of the main disciples of Swami Parthasarathy, founder
of the Vedanta Academy in Lonavala, Mumbai, India. He is considered
to be one of the greatest exponents of Vedanta and has devoted himself
to the study of Vedanta and its practical application to life. Religions
have degenerated to performing rituals without understanding the
real significance of them. For any meaningful impact one should
understand the significance and Vedanta gives that knowledge. Please
join us for an evening's discussion of this topic with Gautam Jain.
